review 1: I enjoyed reading Illegal Action. This book gave few secrets away, right to the ending. Although the story definitely had an ending I still had my doubts about who's side some of the characters were on. If this story is a bit of reality, espionage is a lonely career. A lot of dedication to country or justice is needed to keep you on the job. I usually can see the bad guys and endings of plots pretty quickly, that was not the case with Illegal Action. 4 1/2 stars only because the flow of characters were sometimes confusing.

The author is a very good writer. You are sucked into her books, and they move at a fast pace.

Not what I had hoped. Some plotting is a bit contrived, especially at the end.

I'm not much into reading espionage novels, but I thought this book was okay.
