review 1: I was pretty disappointed in this book. But to be fair, the story is my least very trope. The hero Tyler is still grieving his fiancée Mia's death. He meets Kate who he is instantly attracted to. But of course he is not over Mia. Kate is engaged when they first meet. She is lingerie designer - which is probably the most interesting part of the book. I really liked her character. She was strong, independent, and very secure in herself. She breaks off her engagement and she and Tyler meet again and start a relationship.Tyler - I didn't get at all. He was an alpha male with very strong sexual preferences. Throughout the book he is worried that Kate won't accept "all of him" and he would have to "hold back" like he did with Mia. The constant comparisons between the two wom... moreen were tiresome. Mia seemed like she is featured in the book as much as Kate is - and she is dead. Of course, Kate embraces all of Tyler. And there is even a threesome in the book with his best friend. Tyler tells Kate that David is the only man that is allowed to do this with them. How romantic(insert sarcasm here). This was book was all sex - and hardly and romance at all. It was like 75% into the book - they are in love. And I never saw it coming. Normally dialogue takes care of this - and that fell very short. I felt like we knew more about his love for Mia than we did about his supposed love for Kate. For the price, I did not think it was worth it to read. There are much better authors out there in this genre.
review 2: Kate first meets Tyler when he approaches her at a New Year’s Eve party at Haven, a boutique hotel Tyler owns with his brother Jared, located in Philadelphia. Tyler is a gorgeous, rich playboy and Kate is immediately attracted to him. A few months later, Kate and Tyler meet again and start spending time together. Tyler is into BDSM, but is afraid of scaring Kate off with his desire to dominate her. Kate is interested in trying new things with Tyler, but is uncomfortable giving up control. Kate is frustrated with her current job and is trying to make a name for herself as a lingerie designer. She spends all her free time coming up with new designs. I liked Kate, she is a strong woman and isn’t afraid to speak her mind.Tyler’s fiancée died two years ago and he is having a hard time moving on and dealing with his grief. He is a warm sensitive guy, who always needs to be in control. I loved the way Tyler treated Kate. It isn’t easy for him to learn to open his heart again. Kate and Tyler struggle to find a balance between being honest with each other and overcoming their vulnerabilities. They must to learn how to communicate what they want and how they feel.NO RESERVATIONS is the second book in A Salon Games series. It is an erotic love story with BDSM, ménage and voyeurism. There is an interesting cast of supporting characters in the book that add to the story. In fact, I look forward to reading about Greg and Sabrina in book three. Each book can be read as a standalone, but some of the same characters make appearances in each book. This is a fun read with engaging characters and Tyler and Kate have some sizzling hot sex scenes.
