review 1: this book was pretty good. We all know that zombies are motivated by hunger, he made them seem unbeatable. Everything went totally wrong for the survivors that were trying to get out of manhattan. It was back to back chaos. They were just not lucky whatsoever. nothing went right. thats where the author went wrong. had something went fright then the book would of been a 5 star review from my part. It was an easy read, it did have me at the edge of my seat biting my nails with suspense. Then the turnout would upset me, it was like oh come on would you PLEASE give them a break!! Had it not been for that, the book would of been OUTSTANDING!! The plot of the story is awesome!! I won't spoil it for you, your just going to have to read it yourself!!
review 2: I really
... more enjoyed this zombie apocalypse book. There is quite a bit of reference to military weaponry and jargon, but it wasn't overwhelming in my opinion. It was paced incredibly well with great actions scenes. The characters had flaws in their personality, which added a richness and depth to the book. I would give this book a 4.5 stars mostly because the characters were not diverse enough for me. The characters almost seemed interchangeable, but not quite. Good zombie books are hard to find, so this one is well appreciated. less

A great, great zombie read. I recommend for all lovers of the Zed genre.

Puerile, amateurish at best, horribly racist and utterly boring.
