review 1: I'm speechless by the end of this read. At the beginning I feel like there a lot going on and I can't help to say some of the idea Marvin had for his writing was good and too good made me lost and thought where will this go while also at the same time back and forth reading the mind of the killer gives me chill but at 60% reading, everything seem to slowly come together, ambitious smart determine screenwriter, desperate cop, shady lady cop. Best of all the story progressing well by keeping the mystery along the way, even some give me a bit of creepy scared feelings at some point but of all, when you think you know who the serial killer was, think again.
review 2: The author tells the story in an interesting manner: the narration is divided between two main cha
... moreracters with two different stories. However, early on it is clear to me the author was influenced heavily by stories like Fight Club and that took away some of the appeal. No disrespect to Fight Club, I just didn't think this story was original. The story was just too predictable and the reveal at the end consists of about 3-4 pages so it felt a bit rushed. The author does gain some points for a bit of a twist in the ending, but even that was not that exciting. less

Compelling, if slightly disturbing, read. Didn't see the ending coming at all.

A bit twisted. Quick read. If you like James Patterson books, give it a read.
