review 1: [library audiobook, plot summary elsewhere]This was such fun! The original PP&Z was also fun, but made me feel guilty for not reading the real PP. This was not so encumbered, although I may have to read PP to get a notion of the personalities of each of the Bennett sisters. The reader was excellent, voicing the different characters class tones very well. Not sure if the text would be as good. Accompanying the jokiness is a thread of feminism and women's empowerment, and also a snarky depiction of the upper class worship of many of the middle class.Lots of blood and gore, nevertheless.I'll read sequel if it comes up on the library site.

... moreut there was many grammatical errors. I had to resist the urge to get out my red pen and cross almost everything out. The ending of the story didn't please me either. The introduction had a good hook, but other than that I was quite unsatisfied while reading this book. I found myself daydreaming at some parts, but at others I couldn't put the book down. less
