review 1: I plowed through this book in a couple of days. Granted, it is a short read, but I was so curious about the mysterious powers that the family members developed, and still am. I wish the book had been longer and had included more detail about the powers and how they affected each of the characters' lives. I'll probably go back and reread it; not only to see if I can fill in the blanks, but also because I enjoyed having a glimpse into the lives of each of the family members.
review 2: Another nice summer read. Quick and addictive. The concept is that a family slowly develops super powers, one by one. But unlike The Incredibles,this family develops the powers they need to survive emotionally not the powers they need to fight crime or defeat villains. It's a cute c... moreoncept. The story is played out through a series of chapters told from various family members points of view. While the points of view change, the story continues moving forward through time. I'm not sure how I feel about the ending, it was a hoot to read but left me a bit unsatisfied. I think. Still and all, a fun little read! less
