review 1: Third book in the series on Lisbeth Salander. Book holds one spellbound, and one is sad when one comes to the end, knowing that although there is a possibility of another book, (author is deceased) said book may never be printed!Lisbeth Salander is once again, tormented and held against her will. Mikael Blomkvist, will not abandon her, and with friends and family, fighting along sideof him, they unfold Government corruption in many different places. Will they be able to save Lisbeth, have to read to find out. The reader needs to read The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo first, followed by The Girl Who Played With Fire, before this one. The reader will not be disappointed. This reader feels sad that such a brilliant writers last book may never be published. I hope Ms. Eva Gab... morerielsson manages to succeed, and we will continue to be able to enjoy the stories of Lisbeth.
review 2: I liked this series more than I thought I would. In the final installment Salander is in a hospital bed 70% of the book. I know it sounds super boring, but it actually wasnt. She is just down the hall from her father who tried to murder her. Blomkovist and Armansky (Salander's friends) try to get the charges against Salander dropped, while uncovering the SAPO secret of some organization that has been breaking the rules and hiding the governments dirty work. Once it got into that it got a little confusing. Basically, lots of details, lots of people getting murdered, lots of lies, and Salander being barely tolerable but a complete badass. less
