review 1: Who the eff are Joe and the Nash dad/Alpha? Seriously, it's Tommy's MATE! How can they tell him not to claim him? Then they go off on Elliot and he's treated like a criminal :( Poor Elliot. I wished that Tommy would have stood up for Elliot more. Elliot didn't deserve to be treated that way. Then he's attacked by Chase and Donovan for NO REASON! I mean, this poor guy :( They completely lost all respect from me. I am not even sure I want to move on in this series. Joe and the Nash dad ruined it. Some family.
review 2: Another one that started good but got worse with each page. The only one I really liked was Elliot. Even the previous characters who charmed me, turned out to be rather cruel and impulsive in book. Elliot seemed to be the main bad guy f... moreor every single thing, and the man who was supposed to stand by his side and be the support Elliot lacked all his life, calmly stood by and let things happen. I was very disappointed in him, and it pretty much stayed that way. Then, the last 30 pages of the book, you have the rushed resolution of the bad guy situation that had been building for the last few books. I mean 30 pages? They barely managed to explain that part, and it was very weak. But despite that, I would have rated it higher if not for the insensitive treatment of Elliot. He should have just turned his back and said f* off, mate or no mate. less
