review 1: How much I wish for 1/2 stars!! This book is better than an average 3 but not as close to a 5 as 4... But alas...I loved the pace of this boom, loved the believe able heroine, love the seeming impossibilities... But was a bit annoyed at the ending... So in my head it ended differently, because the written ending was too irritating to me. I can't stand the story of a woman who grows independent through circumstances, but who then throws away her independence at the last minute... Kind of feels like wasted progress... But an interesting and fun read nonetheless!
review 2: What the heck? The book was a quick and easy read and I enjoyed 3/4 of it. I had an issue with the sudden abrupt changes, where I thought I had skipped a page. There was also a disconnect wher... moree the beginning of the story was more developed when compared to the end. I can't even get over the end. I can't even call it an end because it didn't end; it just stopped. I looked for a sequel because I couldn't believe that it would just stop. It ruined the story. less
