review 1: Heartwarming as often with stories about animals. Casper was a special cat, but then every cat is special in its own way. The chapters that are supposedly written by Casper himself don't add much to the book and could have been left out in my opinion. It's a nice personal story about a tomcat and his humans but not the best written book about cats I've read. So far Homer's oddysey is my favourite.
review 2: This is a really lovely story. I would imagine that especially cat lovers will feel drawn to it. Unfortunately I never heard of it through the news when it actually happened. You might have?The only challenge for me was to ignore the fact that some people are just not made to write. More than often I wished the owner of the cat only had told the story to som... moreeone who is experienced in writing books instead of her doing it herself.Either way - the latter is my problem. This is definitely a book I can recommend otherwise. less
