review 1: This reads a lot like a typical hollywood romantic comedy movie, which isn't something I would typically go for.But this book turned out to be a tender, sexy and hilarious page turner. It is a light, but engaging read written in a way that allows even a slow reader like me to keep turning pages.Katie's brother's best friend Ryder is hot, moody, but secretly tender and sensitive, hiding insecurities people in his life aren't aware of. Women only see him as a great fuck, and he is feeling sick of it at this point in his life. Katie however has been in love with him forever, but thinks ryder only sees her as his best friend's little sister. Little does she know, he has noticed she is all grown up.There wasn't much actual kink but it really didn't take away from the hot (and t... moreender) sex scenes in my opinion. I especially loved it when ryder let katie reverse the roles a little bit and tie him up. Once again, do not recomend reading if you aren't already or don't plan to be an erotic romance reader. But if that is what you seek, then get ready for a wild ride.
review 2: Okay... I bought this book on a total whim, didn't know what it was about, etc. Then after looking it up on goodreads, i realized it's an adult romance, and not just categorized as adult romance, but erotic romance (which I personally think might be pushing it, but I've also never read any erotic romance either). Yes there was sex and some dirty talking going on in this book, but nothing like what I was expecting. Definitely an adult book though.But the plot was so good. I really loved this story line, and the characters. Crazy to say this, but I think this might be up there on my favorites books so far this year! Who knew!?! I fell in love with Katie and Ryder, and their story. It was full of happy, cheesy, love story goodness, that I can't get enough of in a good romance. less
