review 1: Hallowed Eve was my second read from author Suza Kates. I was so impressed by her Whisper of a Witch Savannah Coven novel that I hoped she had more books in her back list. She only had two others at that time, Hallowed Eve and She Who is Hidden. When I read Hallowed Eve I starved for more!!! I am not usually into dark suspense but how Suza wrote this story was so intoxicating that I couldn't put the book down and was sad there wasn't more of the story to tell once it was over. I recommend Hallowed Eve to anyone who can handle a good creepy villain with their daily dose of romance.

I find it rare t... moreo find a really good thriller that’s full of suspense, romance and mystery. Having brought this at a very low price I definitely chose wisely!Trey was delicious to read and I was rooting for Eve all the way. She wasn't needy or broken like some characters would be with a past like hers. She was likable with a realistic quality. I was comfortable with the pace of the story, the mystery side of the plot was really good and I was genuinely surprise when the killer was revealed. The romance was nice and steady – grown up and easy to relate to.Overall a fantastic read. A good solid thriller that was not too long, it kept me hooked!! less
