review 1: I'm impressed that Suzanne Brockmann got me to care about and like Adam, but I never really felt like I saw the connection between him and Tony. What did Tony find so appealing about him, anyway? And while I can see Tony's appeal, I never quite got exactly why he was the right man for Adam. I think my favorite part of this story was the relationships and reactions of the SEALs upon learning that Tony's gay.
review 2: For those of us that are Jules lovers, (heh, heh...) it's hard to imagine rooting for Adam. It was app
... morearent that Adam still had major issues, and the way he treated Jules....Urg! He deserves to be lonely and wallow in his lonely alone-ness for YEARS!But Tony was such a likeable characters. And due to Don't Ask Don't Tell, he's never been able to be himself around the other guys. His romantic nature takes over, however...on the night that Adam finally realizes that he's lost Robin to Jules. For Jules lovers, this is a MUST READ. Because Jules is such a stand up guy, and he harbors no ill will for Adam. So I suppose Adam does deserve to be happy. At the very least, he's better be good to Tony. less
