Suzanne Collins is an American writer, well known for her bestseller trilogy The Hunger Games. She was born in Connecticut, in 1962. Her family moved a great many times as her father was an Air Force officer. In 1980, she graduated from high school in Alabama. Then she was studying at the Indiana University, where her major was theater and telecommunications. Lately she graduated from the New York University with a master's degree in wr... moreiting. Since 1911, she worked as a writer for children's shows. She also wrote several children's books herself. In the period of 2003-2005, she wrote the Underland Chronicles, which consists of five books. In 2005, she published a picture book When Charlie McButton Lost Power. In 2008, she presented a first book of trilogy The Hunger Games, which became a bestseller. In the following two years there were released other two parts.
