review 1: This was a great book. The characters were engaging and I especially liked Jimmy Fisher and wanted Bethany to see his sweet qualities. The character Rose Schrock was strong and the type of person that I would want as a best friend. She had a lot to deal with (family problems) and handled herself with grace and strength. I really like this author and have a few of her other books. Will enjoy reading more from her I am very sure!
review 2: Once I was able to get into this book it was a pleasure. ... morevoices and had a depth of feeling. The plot moves along somewhat leisurely, which is why I think switching between perspectives helps rather than hinders the storytelling. It was interesting how each life was intertwined and the ending was wonderful and sweet. less
