review 1: This is by far my favorite book that I have ever read. I really enjoyed reading it. I liked how the writer wrote the story in details like she has been through what the main character went through. The story is about a teenage boy who ran away from home because of his abusive father. The story is really emotional that touched my heart; I felt pity for the young boy but I also didn’t like the fact that he always lied about nearly everything. I wanted to know the real reason behind his father rage but it was not mentioned. I hope our society does awareness about this subject and be more open about it.
review 2: Awesome book. This book is very powerful. This is the story about the bond of two brothers, Jace and Christian. Christian leaves home when his dad hits
... more him. Their dad who is a lawyer hits their mom on a constant basis. So far the only person there dad has hit was their mom. Until one night Jace come hom and bread a glass jar. His dad is furious and hits him and tell himself he has to leave. Before he knows it he is at Christians home. This puts a strain on his and Miriam relationship. There are now words that can express my feelings for this book. This book has been on my TBR shelf forever. If you haven't read it.do it. There is some hilarious moments to this book. less
