review 1: There wasn't really anything wrong with this book. It was entertaining, the characters likable, etc. I enjoyed the BDSM elements and learned a some new things. Thank you google. My "problem" with the book was that there were too many stories going on at once. I know it's typical for this series to have 2-3 stories going at once but for the first time I felt let down by it. Nearing the end I didn't feel like you really got enough time with any of the couples but especially the main couple Trance and Rik. It just felt like there needed to be more of something. I could have done without Ryan/Coco's story line. I think that's what pushed down my rating. His return just seemed anticlimactic. I was really looking forward to his rescue and felt like his story line was just thrown... more in to get it over with. I did like the continuation of Dev's story and the addition of Gabe and all of his attitude. But really nothing wrong with it. It's a good read for an afternoon I just wanted more.
review 2: Rating 3.5I love how the authors are able to flow so nicely between books, set up the next book and still incorporate more than one love story. I definitely like the addition of Gabriel into Dev's life and I love his powers. I liked Trance's character a lot but didn't like their chemistry together that much. I typically like BDSM but it was too much in this book, I think. There just seemed to be something missing for me. Also Ryan and Meg's story was short but cute. less
