review 1: I WASN'T GOING TO READ THIS BOOK BECAUSE OF THE STORY LINE. IT WAS FAR FETCHED? NOT SO MUCH WITH SOCIETY BEING SO VERY F*CKED UP, MORE LIKE THE NORM NOWADAYS. TALK ABOUT CROSSING OR BLURRING LINES THIS TAKES THE C.A.K.E. FOE ME IT CROSSED TO MANY OF MY PERSONAL VALUES. WELLL! I LOVED IT! WHO KNEW? IT WAS A GOOD STORY AND I REALLY LIKED ETHAN & NICOLE. ROMANCE, STRUGGLES, REVENGE, FUNNY AT TIMES, SAD NEAR THE END (omg! I needed a tissue, sniff-sniff) AND SOME VERY HOT SEX SCENES. LOL! HOT DANG! I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER AS MUCH AS I READ. . .NEVER-SAY-NEVER! ;D
review 2: this book was free on Amazon and I will never pass up a free book especially when its an interracial love story. I must say that I was highly disappointed in this book. I finished it because... more anything I start I have to finish it. The relationship between the main characters was just off. Her being a virgin and knowing about her friend Chloe side gig in the bathroom for 20 bucks. Being offended when someone asked you did you the favors as well and then doing it with Ethan 10 minutes later. It just seemed off and a bit out of her character that she would do that so fast. I just couldn't believe it. The way their relationships unfolds it just didn't make sense at all. I just couldn't. From The way she lost her virginity to the to the end of the book. I was just disappointed. The plot could have been interesting but to me it ended up being hot mess. I'm happy I got the book for free. less
