review 1: I was note nam order with this book. I wanted to quit several time as I found it confusing and it dragged. I'm glad I finished it as it was a very surprising ending and the last third of the book definitely had my attention. I felt like there were things mentioned that didn't lead anywhere that just confused the story. As far as making it a wow ending, I give it high marks for that. Interesting plot.
review 2: The story builds with lots of twists and unexpected turns. For me it took a while to get going. The narrative in the book shifts without warning from one person to another which is often confusing. I not sure I liked her style of writing. I found myself having to reread certain passages to determine who was speaking.
