review 1: I borrowed this book for our local library for our before bedtime story.I figured she'd love it since she always grabbing the duck puppet at the library and going duck duck!I read this the night before to her and she didn't seem all that interested which surprised me.I thought it was an okay book, I didn't like or love it though.I don't see myself buying it.I'll try one more time to get her into this book before I return it.If she gets more into it I'll end this review with how she reacted and what really captures her.
review 2: Duck and Goose want a pumpkin like their friend Thistle. They look in lots of different places before figuring out where to find a pumpkin. The text is very simple for beginning readers. I like that the text is placed close to the spea... moreker- allows young readers to differentiate the characters. The illustrations are in warm fall colors and cover the entire page. This is a large board book that would be great for a read aloud. Duck and Goose have been around for a while and children always enjoy their friendship and adventures. less
