review 1: This is definitely a social emotional book. I would use this book with 2 to 4 years olds when discussing the importance of listening to one another. Or when discussing the importance of respecting one another's feelings. I would explain to them that sometimes their friend may not want to play. We all know how it feels to not be heard or talked over. Therefore, it is important to ask questions and listen to your friends because all they may want is a hug.
