review 1: No angst, lovely plot that evolves slowly but well paced. Characters are are all lovely and fleshed out enough for it to be interesting. The romance was sweet and had a slow build up - It wasnt boring - just well paced. The sex was good but not super detailed so it wasnt burning hot, however it also was slot A into tab B - so I cant complain.The only thing I thought was unusual is the size of the towns fire dept it seemed huge but the town itself didnt seem that big...I guess some more descriptions there would help.
review 2: This story didn't speak to me. I couldn't really connect with the characters. Sure Brian was interesting and pulling at the start, but when he started to see Vic it started to get bland. I really don't know why we had to meet so many new c... moreharacters in this book.This first book is simply to focused on showing and presenting all new characters of Encounters. I got bored by that. Brian and Vic's story was to cold and bland. less
