Surprising I really liked this book! | Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas

Greetings earthlings! Today I’m review Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas, the sixth book in the Throne of Glass series!

WARNING SPOILERS

-A: Good story with characters that got better and a slow plot line

“Don’t you waste one heartbeat now being afraid of a coward who hunts women in the darkness.”

I wasn’t sure if I was going to review this book but I’ve review all the other books in Throne of Glass so I was like why not? I case you’re new here I have reviews for all the Throne of Glass books. I have a review Throne of Glass, Crown of Midnight, Heir of Fire, Queen of Shadows, and Empire of Storms so if you would like to read one then click on the names of the books or just go look at the Throne of Glass category on the side. For some reason I want to call this book seven and I did the same thing with Empire of Storms like I was always being like ‘reading book six’ and then realizing that it’s book five and what the hell am i talking about.

This book is basically what Chaol was doing during the events of Empire of Storms because if you don’t remember he was only mentioned in Empire of Storms and it was great! If you don’t know I hate Chaol. Ever since book one I was hated him and in every book since then he has just gotten worse and worse. He is just so winy, and kinda of boring, and he is a real jerk to Aelin in the beginning and I hate him! But so many people love him it turns out which is weird. I like Dorian and my best friend likes Dorian but everyone else like ‘CHAOL OH MY GOD I LOVE HIM’. They talk about Chaol the way I talk about Tom Holland and Harrison Osterfield. I got my mom to read Throne of Glass and I was like ‘what do you think of Dorian?’ and she’s just like ‘Oh he’s nice but I like Chaol’ and I was just in shock. I had low expectations for this book because I didn’t even really want to read it. Even when it was going to be a novella I was like no. But because it’s book six and I love Throne of Glass so I read it and to my surprise I really enjoyed it.

*gasps for effects! I know! Crazy right? But it was a lot of fun, Chaol was enjoyable to read about, I love Yrene, and I loved the story and I just love Sarah J. Maas books!! They are so good! I liked Chaol in this book like I enjoyed reading his point of view. I mean at first I enjoyed Yrene’s point of view but then I soon enjoyed them both. Yrene and Chaol oh my god I really enjoyed reading about them and their story. They went from hating each other to loving each other and they got married! So I guess now that Chaol is married we can finally claim that Chaol and Aelin is a die ship. Yay. I’m glad that he is happy though this book was good! Nesyrn though reading about her and Chaol and that she was still sort of holding on to. When she saw him and Yrene together and run away, I was so sad. I’m sad that this series is ending and that I have to wait like a whole another year for the next book to come out which sucks. This book was really good and I think that if you enjoy Throne of Glass then you should read this book. Did anyone else read this book because I saw anyone haul it but then no one did a review on it. What happen? Was it not worth reviewing?

Nesyrn was so great in this book and I just wanted to protect her. And weirdly a part of me was still hoping that maybe her and Chaol would patch things up but they didn’t and I was okay with that because he and Yrene seem to just go with each other. Nesyrn though when she sees Yrene and Chaol and they are like having a moment and she gets upset and she just leaves with that guy. The note she left for Chaol and it took him like forever to get it, I knew that he was going to get upset and like yell at Yrene because Chaol is a whiny little child and because that’s what normally happens in this types of situation. That happened and I just wanted to like hug everyone and at the same time just talk them in a room and have them talk about everything. I’m excited for what happens next and I’m very happy that I enjoyed this book. Guys just read this book because even if you don’t like Chaol then you’ll stay enjoy this book. It’s not my favorite book in the series that title is currently being held by Heir of Fire and Empire of Storms but this book still is amazing and beautiful written. Sarah was done another great job with writing this book.

And that’s it for my Tower of Dawn book review! I’m so sad that we only have one more book left but I hope it goes off with a bang! And it probably will. Well I hope because if I’m being honest I was disappointed by ACOWAR and I’m hoping that whatever book seven is going to be better and I’m interested into seeing whatever Sarah is going to be doing next. I have no clue whatever posts are coming soon because I’m writing this in the past. I hope you enjoyed this post and make sure to look out for more coming your way soon.
