review 1: This book was very much plot driven instead of character driven. It seemed like the author had a series of events that must happen to get from point A to point B--regardless of if it made sense or not for the character. This did not bother me so bad until the final part of the book, and then it bothered me a lot. So, I cannot give this book more than 2 stars despite having really enjoyed Daughters of Fortune.
review 2: Okay guys I am now a fan of Tara Hyland. Man this woman can tell a story that keeps you on your toes. The story and characters are well developed and strong. I was hooked in the first few chapters. I did not want to put this book down. I was surprised at the unexpected twist and turns and was never expecting this book to end how it did. Sins O... moref The Mother contains abandonment, crime, abuse, love, romance, some bitterness and much more. This book does contain a few detailed sex scenes. You can easily graze over these if you dont care for that. I highly recommend this book and will read this story again. I love when a story stick with you and this one does less
