review 1: I've read this novel in 2 days, and although I liked the sex, the story itself was under developed and the author didn't pay enough attention to detail. For example, she mentioned that the distance between her place and his estate was a 2 hour drive. At the end of the book he expects her to be at the estate within the hour. Now if I would've read this book over the span of a week, I wouldn't have noticed, but because I read it in 2 days I was able to remember such detail.I plan on reading the 3rd book, because I think the second book is the same story but from his perspective and I don't care to know what he thinks. Overall, good book but it could've been better developed.

Abby King wants to be a submissive but not to just any man. She wants to be the submissive to Nathaniel West, CEO of his father’s business. Within minutes of meeting each other, West is organising to have Abby trialled over a test weekend.Nathaniel knows what he wants and he wants Abby. Like 50 Shades, people will rubbish the content of this but please look beyond that - this is a story about a relationship forming and growing. These two are looking for something in someone and they find it. He is strict, he is firm and he’s sexy! Some readers will be put off by the content but remember, these are willing participants. Abby wants to be his submissive and plays the part well. She starts to get confused when she blurs the lines of submissive and potential partner. She questions her role and the lines. Things go along well till Abby is seriously injured in a car accident. West also then blurs the lines between Master and mate but quickly puts that wall back up. The progression of their relationship is beautiful and heartbreaking while the sex scenes are achingly tantalising. Some would say forget Ana and Christian – it’s all Abby and Nathaniel but we all know there’s plenty of room on the whipping bench. It’s hard not to get swept up in the romance and chaos that surrounds their relationship. Certainly is a good read and will have you gagging for more. I paid for a copy of this book from my own money.Karen @karensbookhaven less
