review 1: This book was fantastic. Taryn immediately pulls you in with how she sets a scene. The characters are people you wish were your friends. You feel Logan's pain with what he's been through & how that has impacted everything in his life, including his music. Bella is such a great character. I love her attitude & her relationship with her best friend Nicole. Logan & Bella (or as Logan calls her, Izzy) have instantaneous chemistry. Their banter is hilarious & it's beautiful to watch them fall in love. I'm looking forward the rest of the series. I highly recommend this book.

There is hot sexual scenes, but not excessively so in the novel. I love that this novel is not the same old plot of rock star meets girl then some angst before they fall in love. This plot has some great unexpected treats to throw your way. The book kept my interest from the very beginning and I loved the characters in the book. As it is the first of a trilogy, there is a huge cliffhanger. I have to admit that I am already anxiously awaiting book two to find out some of the answers that Elliott has unanswered for us on purpose. It even has some great suspense interwoven with the romance. So, if you like mystery, thrillers, hot and steamy sex, and rock and roll romance you are definitely going to be quite happy with this novel. less
