review 1: Although I enjoyed this story it seemed to drag on. I was happy to finish and not in the OMG that was awesome let me read it again kind of way. I really do love this type of story but I even found myself skipping through the sex, all the same. I just had enough and wanted the story to move forward. I am hoping that the next book, with 2 interesting characters Jazz and Gray, is a tighter story. All the build up of stories and players, hopefully, was in the first book.
review 2: This book was a joy ride through hell and back. So, this book is like many other rock star romance stories. But, emphasize on the word 'but', this book had a different scene and aura compared to all those other love stories. I went in thinking it was going to be the best book in the en
... moretire world. It was good, but it didn't quite reach that rank.Deacon was a really sweet character. He wasn't like other badass bad boy rockers, no, he was a badass good boy rocker. He was also supposedly supposed to be really huge and tall and had a crap load of muscles. I loved his character, he wasn't a slut like his other bandmates, Simon and Nick. He seemed to be looking for something real, something that could easily hold his heart and feed him a bunch of food. That's where Harper came in. With her awesome cooking skills, wonderful appearance and years of experience she is perfect for him. Now, like I said, this book was a joy ride through hell and back. Simon and Nick totally deserved to be bitch slapped into next week. At first that were really enjoyable characters and I trusted them, but then they screwed their band mates over and I wanted to strangle them for being cruel bastards. I especially hated Nick for the simple reason that he seemed to be behind it all, while Simon just agreed to what was being done. Jazz was the little sister of the group and also the drummer. What I loved was the fact that there wasn't any jealousy with her and Harper which made this book so much freaking better than any other book. Yeah, there were hints of jealousy, but they quickly faded away and dropped out of existence forever.I couldn't really have an opinion on Gray, the final bandmate. He was mysterious and for a while I thought he and Jazz were together, but then I found out that they weren't. He was mysterious, didn't speak much, didn't show emotion, didn't care at all. He was like a freaking robot for almost all of the book. The book has a happy ever after, there are no ex-girlfriends or anything, finally something a bit different, the romance between Deacon and Harper isn't filled with drama. Three stars, because the book kind of became drawn out and a bit annoying which I definitely found annoying. I loved it and I so recommend it. less
