Heart of the Wolf
review 1: A Highland Werewolf Wedding by Terry Spear is just one more book to add to my list of favorites in this Heart of the Wolf series. In the well written love story of Elaine and Cearnach, we have two characters who were destined to be together from the very beginning and are so very well matched as their continued interaction throughout the story comes through, even while in wolf form which became a very huge part of their love story, you could really feel this pairing was very real. Cearnach's personality of strong and courageous comes through loud and clear, while Elaine strong and courageous personality had just the right amount of vulnerability. The hilarious scene with the wolfhounds was priceless, the story's mystery plot kept you wondering throughout the story and when... more its revelation is disclosed it is quite a surprise. Ms. Spear, my interest has never wavered in this storyline or in any of your main characters, as well as some very intriguing secondary characters, in this entire fascinating series.
review 2: This was a fun one to read. I loved Elaine, how she didn't bow down to Cearnach or anyone else in his clan. It seemed like at every turn she was butting heads with Cearnach, sometimes over big things, some times over small things. I did love how Cearnach's clan quickly adopted Elaine and made her feel welcome. I wasn't surprised when a new wolf popped up at the end. I did like how the wolf was dealt with. less
