review 1: Gripping! I started this yesterday and I just had to finish it today. The book has POV chapters for the main characters. And when you get to the end of one with an exciting ending, the next chapter will turn out to be another character and it will go over some stuff thats already happened. At first I found this annoying but then I saw how clever this technique was. I kept turning those pages! The plot was good. I liked Mal the most so naturally I despised Sara. Although I could see both sides. Nicholas was a dick through the whole thing and if Mal had not had any kids with him, I would have told him to stuff it! The speech Mal gives to Sara and then later to Nick both made me cry. Would love to read more by this author.
review 2: I came across this book as I wa
... mores standing in line at my local post office. I was bored and started reading the back of the book to get an idea of what it was all about. Later that day I went to my favourite second-hand book store and saw the book again. I decided to get it and I couldn't put it down. I loved how the author really went into detail about the affair and about the feelings of the characters. It was almost as if I was watching from a distance as the story line unfolded. less
