review 1: I felt so disappointed than I didn't like this book all that much because in theory I should have loved it. It has so many things that work for me in a m/m/m book, like you never feel that the third character is the "spare", they all have a pretty equal relationship, no unlikable characters even if Chris was a bit OTT and there are no two tops/doms looking for a sub/bottom that usually makes me think they are looking more for a sex toy than a person but even with all of that I found it so boring that I had to force myself to finish it.
review 2: This review might seem a little negative, remember though I did give it 3 stars because it was in fact an entertaining enough read. I'd probably recommend it if someone was looking to start reading MMM for the first tim
... moree cause it's pretty tame on story (psychology) and big on the sex. Alright so, let's start with the writing. It was a super strange choice of tense. The entire book is from Caleb's POV and for a menage that just doesn't work. He kinda almost makes up how the other to are feeling based on body language and such. So in the end you don't get a complete understanding of the relationship, and since whenerver Caleb is with them all they are doing is having sex it isn't a relationship that seems viable. Secondly, as stated above there is a lot of sex; pages and pages filled with it. Now, that's not always a bad thing, but when you have a relationship that needs to be built around trust, sex just kinda gets in the way of story. As for the story, not sure there was one. All in all, it wasn't half bad after you get over the writing style, it's a pretty easy light read. less
