review 1: Lame. Really lame. Yeah, we all know we read time travel historical romances prepared to "suspend disbelief" and enjoy the escapism...but this book is just so...."Yeah, right..." that you just keep getting yanked out of your Escapism Zone. Dirty heroine gets catapulted to current New York City Central Park courtesy of magic stones. OK. Gotta get the story started... Hero accidently runs into her with his car. OK. The real New Yorker Hero takes her to the ER, pays for her ER bill, and his teaching assistant moves heroine (who they had mistaken for a homeless lady) into his apartment because she had no where else to go.....definitely "Yeah, right..." Goes downhill from there.
review 2: While I loved the premise of the story (a less-than-heroic man findin
... moreg himself back in medieval times), the execution was a bit uneven and rough. The timeline didn't seem to flow very smoothly, with things being worded so that the reader thinks several days have passed only to find out that that's not the case. Several questions were left unanswered - something the author is certainly entitled to do, but leaves the reader feeling a bit dissatisfied. Despite that, it was a fun read; and I wouldn't mind checking out some of the author's other books someday. less

No thanks. This is too graphic. Really? Can't describe without?

A little goofy with the time travel aspect, but a quick, fun read.

This is legit probably the best worst thing I've ever read.
