review 1: This was one emotion-packed story! I felt on edge the entire time I was reading it. Most of the book was a flash back to 8 years prior--an angsty coming of age story fraught with abuse and tension. The brief glimpses of present day were equally as angst filled. The story was well-told. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but wish there had been more to Greg and Aaron's present day story. Hopefully the other books is this series will include them.
review 2: This was an interesting story about Greg a screenwriter and Aaron a producer. Both men have been together for ten years, but Greg is heavily closeted and Aaron has had enough. Greg uses a movie he has written to tell a semi-autobiographical story about his and Aaron's lives as kids. The book was split between the year 20
... more02 (present with the real Greg and Aaron) and 1994 (when the movie was set). It was an interesting idea and it was executed well surprisingly. Sometimes the characterisations got messy because the '94 segment was also fiction so whilst the actual story wasn't real the emotions were.I think this was a good book, and I liked the story and the characters. There was disconnection though because of the characters taking on two roles each; and I also felt the sex sort of overrun this book. However, I enjoyed it and I think the writing flowed well. less

It feels like there should be at least 20 pages or more to make the ending not so rushed.
