review 1: I didn't know so many people hated the point of view until I read the reviews. Do not take their word for it, young reader, because you may really love the point of view, such as myself.I definitely agree that I preferred Caution over Blink, probably because Caution is a badass female and Blink's kind of a scaredy cat. He's too naive for a street kid.I did really love the introduction to both characters, even if it was rather slow building up. I liked how part 2 was their story together, though I didn't really enjoy most of part 2. The kidnapping didn't really seem THAT action packed and bad to me. It sounded very calm. Nobody really knew what they were doing. Nobody really reacted the way most bad men would. However, I enjoyed how both Blink and Caution needed each other a... morend used that bond to get themselves back to where they were before they were both broken.
review 2: This book reads like an adult fiction book. It is has interesting narration as a street kid happens to be at wrong place at the wrong time or is he? His serendipitous moments leads him on a thrilling adventure that leads him to finding someone who understands him. Their chance meeting becomes a catalyst for intense changes in the characters' lives and destinies. Jones urban tale that takes place in Canada is based on a real event that happened in his life. The reader is taken on an exciting journey with realistic characters as Jones spins a descriptive and modern coming of age story that is both action packed and emotional. less
