review 1: I thought the book was pretty good. It was very interesting and really pulls you in. The way Blink and Caution (which we later find their real names) lives go on until they meet. How Caution running away from a freak accident and a drug dealer named Merlin. Blink ran away from home and lives on the streets when he sneaks into a hotel snd steals breakfast. He goes into a room and just happens to get involued in a supposed kidnapping. When Blink and Caution first meet it pretty interesting. Then a plot twist gets thrown in the story. When Blink tells Caution about his plan with Alyson to help find her dad, she reluntly helps. They get to know each other and find out their real names. Which are Kitty and Brent. They go to the lodge and find Alyson's dad. Brent gets caught by ... moreJack's (Alyson's dad) sidekicks. A deal is formed between Brent and Jack, then that deal goes sour and Brent tries to escape again. That's when Kitty comes to the recuse and they both escape. They both fall in love with each other and go back to their homes. They keep in touch until they meet again.
review 2: Set in my homecity, Toronto, this was honestly and unbiasedly one of the most intriguing and captivating novels on crime, feeling and conspiracy I have ever had the pleasure to read. Well-written and full of emotion and color - it's so well illustrated the readereasily empathisizes with the characters. Blink - who is senstive, warm of heart and incredibly lovable personality. And spunky Caution, equally as appealing and adorable and unbelievably honest to her soul. The crime itself and the plot was slightly tangled and confusing, and it wasn't quite resolved very well - but I can see that the theme of this novel was not necessarily the crime itself. It was the stringing together of two lonely street youth with tragically crumbling lives. A great and riveting read - I enjoyed it very much and I couldn't put it down because I was desperate to see what would happen to them. The end was satisfying but it was painful to tear away from the characters. I had formed a bond with them and it was sad to see them go. less

A literary thriller. It's not common to read a novel written in the second person - well worked.

Not bad, a neat story about how two street kids from Ontario meet. A nice happy ending.
