review 1: This one is about Quinn (from NY) and Rose. Both vampires. Rose hires Scanguards & Quinn to protect her relative. She has something that someone wants and that person has threatened her & her relative to get it. A second story (minor story) also plays out with Oliver during this book. My only disappointment is that Thomas still doesn't have anyone, it's been hinted at but never addressed, and you feel bad for Thomas since his betrayal in book 1. Was a little disappointed at how the previous book ended, but some of the issues (such as with Zane & Isabelle) were kind of covered in this book. I look forward to Oliver's book, and have been happy that the main core group of characters are in each book.
review 2: Another winner in the Scanguard series. I am an av... moreid reader of this series and somehow Tina pulls it off by writing better & better as the series goes on. The lives get more intertwined with characters from other books reminding you of previous stories and also ones still to come. It is packed with romance, action, steamy between the sheets scenes all wrapped up in a gripping story which I always struggle to put down. Can't wait for the next release! less
