review 1: Oh Tina Folsom, you are one of my favorite purveyors of fine smut. Or rather, decent paranormal novels with smutty overtones. And undertones. And by "tones" I mean "hot doods" and "sexy chicas" Let's just talk about your one major fault, ok? Just this once and we'll agree to never talk about it again. "Oozing" is not a sexy word, and not something anyone wants during sexy time. There, now lets never even think about this brief unpleasantness.I'm pretty sure that I preferred the first volume in this series, and I know that I prefer any of the Scanguard Vampire books to it, but that being said, it had some solid moments. Planning a romantic meal? Check. AA meeting? Check. Naughtiness in public places? Double check. Shrimp and grits all around? Check!It was a b... moreit sad though, because Ari and Dio loved each other from the start. If Dio had been able to get out of his own way (which he was doing) then the book would've been about 50 pages. If only Hera hadn't decided to exact revenge on her not so red headed stepchild.But really, if Hera had just left them the fuck alone then the happy ending would've happened in a far less hilarious fashion.Plus I never would've found out what Zeus's weakness was. And that, my friends, is a story I would not have missed for anything.
review 2: This is really funny. Despite the campy cover, its like Darkhunter verse merge into basic romance storyline without all the PNR in it. The book started with Dionysus decided to be total asshole to Ariadne then he lost his memory which Ariadne decided to play pay back. There's this whole great manipulation going on to keep you interested and its very fast paced. If you're depressed enough with your current reading, this book will cheer you up. Review much later... erk less
