review 1: This is a wonderful book to continue on the adventures of Origami Yoda and his friends. About half way through I realized the books take place in Virginia and the kids are complaining about the SOL tests. I teach 8th grade English in Virginia and I just had laugh when I made the connections. I also got a bit worried that this Fun Time program is real and may be coming to my school (shudder). If you have read the other books, definitely pick this one up. If you haven't read the others, what are you waiting for?
review 2: Mcquarie Middle School is now getting worse. One example is that everyone's classes for art, choir, etc. have been replaced by these educational (so called by Principal Rabbaski) videos called Funtime.And the field trip to D.C. has been can... moreceled because of the schools score for a test at the end of the year ( that's why the school now has funtime to increase the scores from math and reading). Dwight and his friends is now trying to get the trip to D.C. back and stop funtime. In order to do this they gathered most of the schools students to decrease the score. This bunch of students was the Origami rebel alliance. This book was great. Tom Angelberger did great on The Surprise Attack of Jabba the Puppet, and there's a part 2. I recommend this book to anyone who likes Star Wars. less
