review 1: Very cute story which would appeal to both boys and girls at the 5th grade level. With pictures and chapters told by a variety of characters, this could work for a variety of readers."Meet Dwight, a sixth-grade oddball. Dwight does a lot of weird things, like wearing the same T-shirt for a month or telling people to call him "Captain Dwight." This is embarrassing, particularly for Tommy, who sits with him at lunch every day. But Dwight does one cool thing. He makes origami. One day he makes an origami finger puppet of Yoda. This book surprised me! Yes, I was following the typical stereotype where I thought that it would be too "nerdy" or "boyish" just because it referenced Star Wars, with the Yoda origami character. But a girl should read this book as much as any boy should! This book shows children that it is okay to have people think that you are weird. The main character, Dwight, was thought of as weird by his classmates, but he did not notice and did not care. That is the lesson that I would recommend this book for. That is the reason that children should read this book. I think the middle school age and even 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders should read this.
