review 2: this was a lot of fun to read! it is my first Tom Clancy novel. the development of all of the different characters and angles and organizations was impressive, the story kept up a quick pace, and the conclusion was suspenseful & satisfying. it's also a book that, if you happen to be reading in public, invites comments from folks about 1) the length and 2) their familiarity with tom clancy, if you wanted to have some chats. less
