review 1: So fun to read aloud a book that rhymes gazpacho and nacho with muchacho. There are good context clues to help those of us who don't speak Spanish understand the unfamiliar words, but there were a couple that I wasn't sure of, even with the pictures and text clues. Food books are almost always a hit, and this one did make me hungry. I like that Mami makes picky Nacho help her cook, but I didn't really buy the jump from him making his own gazpacho to being willing finally to try other foods.
