review 1: In "Topping the Domme" we see a couple of commonly (over?)used plot tropes: a domme discovering she's really not, and a hunt for a serial killer who's murdering submissives.Karina and Brayden are assigned to the case. Although she's a domme, she'll need to play the part of a submissive to Brayden's Dom in order to catch the killer's attention. Of course, Karina (re)discovers her inner submissive, and she and Brayden fall for each other. Meanwhile the killer keeps getting closer and closer.I was somewhat disappointed by the mystery and suspense surrounding the murderer. It seems rushed, and gets wrapped up too quickly, and you never know why the killer targeted Karina or the other subs. However, it's a sweet love story -- Karina and Brayden are good together. And I'll probab... morely read the next book about Delacroix...he's a pretty interesting guy!
review 2: What a wonderful twist on a BDSM book. This book is one that you can't put down. Between the attraction that is developing between the two doms, to the sex scenes and of course the crime. What a nail bitter. Your not sure what to think. How will this story pull together and who is the killer.Karina is a young NCIS Homicide agent by day but has a whole other world at night. Karina is one of the top Dommes in local club. Karina has had a struggle lately in the BDSM world but can't quite put her finger on why. She loves her life and work but something is missing. Though she's not sure what that is. Brayden Samuel NCIS Narcotics agent in the same office as Karina. But the agency frowns on relationships with other agents. But Brayden is drawn to Karina and its not just her looks. Then they get a case they must both go under cover for in an Atlanta club. There is a serial killer in the city killing local subs. Only Karina and Brayden are both Doms! less
