review 1: Once I got to the end of Unrequited, even though it left me in a content place, I did not want the journey to stop there for a single moment, so I immediately started Sated. Talia continues on her journey through life going places and doing things that, honestly, most of us don't even dream about and I'm pleased that I have been able to go along as a passenger on this journey. It has been interesting learning of the different cultures, but even more so, the characters have been so well developed that I feel like I know them and I just want the story to go on and on. The story made me feel passion, love, loss, longing and so much more. The theme of giving back to the world is so well described, I wonder if it isn't based on something real. There are just so many themes pres... moreent in this story - family, looking for love, travel, culture, the world's issue with lack of clean water, loss, voodoo and other themes not of this world - the way it is presented, it makes sense for this story. Looking forward to the conclusion and hoping that everyone gets their hea.
review 2: This is book 2 of the trilogy and a page turner for me a vey interesting look at Talia jacobs life and shows us how one person can make a difference in so many lifes there is something special about Talia that draws men women and children to her no matter where she goes this time she starts out about 5 yrs. after the first book ended and she is with a man who was not her true love once again but someone she gave her self to and help him through some hard times in his life and he was weak and was not smart enough to realize that Talia is special and could read people in away he would never understand and he cheated on her and thought it was ok to lie to her about it. She realizes pretty much that she is not interested in being with just any man but one meant for her alone. She has to move on from that and go on with her life, Talia then went to america and started a charity that was world wide and all she wanted to do was help those less fortunate as well in making sure that everybody that needed water had a chance to have fresh clean water. She continued to traveled back and forth between the continents for a while during this time she looses her nanny and met her family and they became her family and she then lost her grandpa and she still was strong and moved on with her life always putting her work first and she still went back home to Australia to visit her family and bought the horse school to live on and some horses and still she hasn't found the man of her dreams just yet so she is not ready to settle down, but at the charity masked ball that she gave during the time she was establishing the Solution Manisfestation the charity that was created and she danced with a man who did intrigue her but it was not the time and she let the incident pass at the time because something else was more important at the time which was Marlee. But now she has met him again and found that he is the little boy from Haiti that she met and went to school with when she was small and he and his parents left to go back to their home. Marlee the nanny made sure they would one day find each other again. You will really have to read this story to get the full jist of the book but it is very, very good. less
