review 1: Poetry has never been my thing. Too complex for me. Not too long ago, I found a poem I wrote in childhood about mice who were nice. I remember writing that poem and I remember how happy it made me to have completed it. Later in life, I discovered poets like Maya and Nikki and I knew I was not a true poet. Every once in a while, I stumble upon poems I understand and I fall in love. This book is an example of that. It's sensual and necessary. I want to gift this to all my friends.
