review 1: A sweet short story. When I read the Under the Never Sky series, I was always a little sad that there wasn’t much time in the story where Liv was around. She had a huge impact on both Roar and Perry yet we only got to see her through Aria’s eyes for a couple of days in the main series. This is one of the reasons I enjoyed this short story. It was good to see Liv’s character and how her arranged marriage to Sable came about. I loved the way Roar was willing to give up everything for her – no matter what danger or consequences it would bring him in the future. I also understood why Liv felt she had to run away and eventually attempt to do her duty. Liv and Roar’s story is a heart-breaking tragedy, but beautiful and sweet nonetheless.I’d recommend reading this if y... moreou’ve read at least the first book in the Under the Never Sky series. It’s technically a stand-alone but I think you’d have a much better grasp of things if you’ve read Under the Never Sky.
review 2: It was a big change to be inside Roar’s head. He’s always been the fun guy. It feels so different that he’s so lonely inside, this made me love him more. I also feel his strong attachment to Perry and I really ache for that even before. I love their relationship because they’re like true brothers. One’s sadness is also another’s sadness. I don’t think any other brotherly friendship will ever beat theirs. less

Adoré la amistad entre Perry y Roar, y también la inesperada historia de Olivia -'Liv- con Roar.
