review 1: I'm finding this isn't the kind of book I will read through to the end but the kind I will pick up to read a few chapters at a time, between or while reading other books. It's beginning to feel too long to me, at 32% into it. Not saying I'm not enjoying it, I am. I just have to move on to other books - but keep this one close at hand and read each chapter's short, standalone story when I'm in the mood for it.
review 2: This book is a collection of short stories from her life. She shares some from before her conversion and some afterwards. She sounds very honest and funny as she tells her stories and shares a lesson from each one. I cracked up laughing at the image of a pregnant woman trying to move a heavy dresser by leaning on the wall and walking her
... more legs up the side of it. Then she began to straighten her legs hoping to push the dresser. Instead, she created a hole in the wall. I still have that image of her butt stuck in a hole in the wall in my head. It was also an easy read since it was made up of a collection of short easy to read stories. less
