review 2: 3 stars for me. Loved the humour and I am a sucker for a high school crush, turns to second chance love. I adored Lexi, she is the epitome of a beautiful, clever h... moreeroine who has no idea just how lovely she really is. She has no family and is devastated at the loss of her father. I loved her but thought Vincent was a total chump!! I didn't get why it took him so long to see Jade for what she was despite all his friends, family and Lexi seeing straight through her. He really agrivated me, no final get together scene either!!! epilogue then 18 months later and they were very little further on!! I knocked off a star for this, a great pity for me, I wanted them married with children at least after taking 90% of the book to admit they loved each other!! I am all for build up, much prefer to insta-love but I was annoyed!!I loved Hope and Sean, started to wonder why she didn't pretend she liked Sean to annoy Vincent, she was a saint for putting up with him!!Lots of little mistakes wish I knocked half a star off for, wrong words, mis spelling etc. Unfortunately it just took away from the flow of the story for me a little and need editing to warrant the price. less
