review 1: Very good suspense crime story. A lot of twists and turns in the plot which kept me guessing about the murderer till the end. Emily was married to William and William was found murdered. Emily had left the town and not been seen for 4 years. Steven is a billionaire who meets Emily through a mutual friend and they fall for each other whilst both pretending to be other people. They soon tell each other the truth and then starts the nightmare of who killed William.
review 2: Ugh, I'm not impressed. The book was so full of convenient coincidences and over-exaggerated personalities that it was like a freaking Disney movie. The book's hero, Steven, is way too perfect. Handsome billionaire with a bleeding heart and all that jazz. The heroine is maddeningly naive and t... morerusting for a woman who has been hurt so many times in her life. The "mystery" is just beyond convoluted. I gave it two stars because it helped me fill an otherwise boring afternoon and gave me another book toward my "books read" goal for 2013. Not worth a reread. less
