review 1: This is a non-stop action packed suspense thriller. Mitch Rapp doses out a high level of testosterone as a CIA operative and covers an awful lot of the roads and places I've been in northern Virginia. Coincidence? I think not. Vince Flynn has done his homework. Here are a few of the more memorable lines where Flynn is spot on."The number of politicians in Washington who are willing to stand on principle and put the security of the country before their party was quickly becoming a pathetically small group.""The players [politicians] all moved along a path where their incentives were money, power, and notoriety."
review 2: A true Vince Flynn thriller. This books picks up where Extreme Measures left off, after the terrorist attack on the National Counterterroris... morem Center. Mitch Rapp and company are on the trail of the 3 escaped terrorists, however, due to the idiotic members of the oversight committee he is being investigated for his interrogation tactics from the previous attack. This book is a total page turner, and Flynn as he always did, writes a great political thriller. Hopefully the author that is picking up the Mitch Rapp series will do him justice. less
