review 1: Okay, this book moved me in a way that no other book has. If you need to have a good cry about the awful way humans treat one another then this book is for you. I'm listening to reports of families being ripped apart by conflicts in Gaza and Ukraine, and Central American children travelling 5000 miles across dangerous countries only to be turned away because they're 'illegal' and all of this somehow tied into the themes of The Twenty-Fifth hour in such a disturbing way. This book really made me feel like a piece of s***, like a cog in the government machine. Its thought provoking and heart wrenching and unlike any other Holocaust book I've read. If everyone read this book maybe we'd understand just how stupid our constant fighting is. Anyway, read it. Perhaps you'll get so... moremething totally different out of it, but either way its a wonderful read.
