review 1: OMG, this is such a sad story. My eyes are still puffy this morning from crying last night while I was reading it. Definitely NOT a book to read in public. ugh. An excellent story. Although, be sure to watch the year in the dates of the journal entries. Towards the end they kind of hop around, so you might get confused if you're not paying attention. There were no parts where I skipped over sections. The characters were well written and kept their individuality throughout - unlike some stories where the tend to blend into one voice towards the end. So, kudos to the author for that. I couldn't put this one down.
review 2: First off, let me say that my eyes leaked a bit during this book. What? Okay, a lot! I have mixed feeling about every character in th... moreis book. Jamie for doing what he did and leaving them behind, Matt and Darian for daring to start something at that time. This being said I found it very, very sweet and sad and heartwarming and frustrating. I couldn't re-read it but I'm so glad I finally buckled down and read it at all. Thanks Jen! Oh, and I want to hurt Jamie's mom. Like make her suffer while I giggle kind of hurt. Bitch! less
